Always Take equal amount of curd and suji. It is important for good result to keep the batter in rest.

Methods
  • 1. Take a mixing bowl add rawa , salt and curd. Mix it well. Keep it aside for 2 hrs.
  • 2. Check the consistency of the batter. If it is too thick then add water. Add 1 tsp oil and baking soda. Mix it .
  • 3. Meanwhile boil water in the steamer. Grease the idli plates.
  • 4. Divide the mixture into 3 equal parts . Mix orange colour in one part, green in another part.
  • 5. Pour the mixture in idli molds. Steam it on high flame for 7-8 minutes.
  • 6. Turn off the flame. Remove the idli stand. Let it cool then , take out from the mold.
