Malpuas are traditionally Holi dessert ,I have made with little twist using walnuts which not only enhance its taste but change from the regular one!!

Ingredients For Walnut Rabdi Malpua Recipe

Methods
  • 1. For Rabdi, in a heavy bottom pan add milk and sugar, cook till half of quantity remained and milk starts thicken.
  • 2. Add powdered walnut and mix well cook until more10 minutes then switch off the flame.
  • 3. For malpuas in a bowl add wheat flour,rava, crushed walnuts and powdered walnut.
  • 4. Add little by little milk to make pouring consistency batter. Heat nonstick rava with sufficient hot oil.
  • 5. Pour a tablespoon of batter, medium the flame and cook on one side till done, flip on other side till done.
  • 6. Make all malpuas like this, meanwhile in pan mix sugar and water to make syrup.
  • 7. When water starts bubbling cook mor 10minutes, then keep malpuas on warm water for a minute.
  • 8. In a serving plate arrange malpuas, pour some Rabdi, garnish with walnut.
