Ingredients For Wheat Momos Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Forsy prepare the dough by mixing up 2 cups wheat flour, 2 tbsp oil and salt to taste. Add in water as required and knead to smooth dough. Cover with moist cloth and rest for 30 minutes
  • 2. To make stuffing for wheat Momos in a bowl add onion, cabbage, carrot and salt mix well and keep the stuffing aside.
  • 3. Divide the dough into equal parts. Further pinch a small ball and flatten. Now dust with some wheat flour and start to roll using rolling pin.
  • 4. Roll to almost medium thin circle. Around 4-5 inch in diameter make sure you roll from sides and keep the centre slightly thick.
  • 5. Now place a heaped tbsp of prepared stuffing in centre. Start pleating the edges slowly and gather everything. Press in middle and seal the Momos forming a bundle
  • 6. Heat a steamer and arrange the Momos in the tray without touching each other
  • 7. Steam Momos for 10-12 minutes or till shiny sheen appears over it.
  • 8. Finally serve wheat Momos hot with ketchup or Momos sauce
