Mostly we used to make namakpaare with all purpose flour. But this time I decided to give it a healthy version. I have made namakpaare with jowar and wheat flour.

Ingredients For Aata jowar namakpaare Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a mixing bowl, add both the flours. Add salt and carom seeds.
  • 2. Add ghee and mix properly with fingers.
  • 3. Add water little by little and make a tight dough.
  • 4. Cover the dough and rest it for 30 minutes.
  • 5. Take a portion of the dough, roll it and make a thin chapati. Cut it into desired shape.
  • 6. Heat oil in a wok. Put the flame on low medium.
  • 7. Deep fry the namakpaare. After they get cooled, store them in air tight container.
