Methods
  • 1. Sieve flour and soda in a bowl. Now add ghee and curd to the flour. Now add 1/4 cup water, and mix it with flour. Simply gather the dough together gently. And cover and keep it for 15-20 minutes.
  • 2. Now add sugar and water in a pan. And make 1 string sugar syrup, add cardamom powder and 5-7 strands of saffron in the syrup.
  • 3. Now take small balls from the dough. And roll it round and press it from the middle with the help of fingers.
  • 4. Now heat ghee in the pan. Do not heat the ghee too much. Now add as much dough as you can and fry on medium flame.
  • 5. Now add all the fried Balushahi, and take it out after some time and garnish with pistachios and saffron.
  • 6. Delicious Balushahi is ready.
