Sieve flour and soda in a bowl. Now add ghee and curd to the flour. Now add 1/4 cup water, and mix it with flour. Simply gather the dough together gently. And cover and keep it for 15-20 minutes.

Now add sugar and water in a pan. And make 1 string sugar syrup, add cardamom powder and 5-7 strands of saffron in the syrup.

Now take small balls from the dough. And roll it round and press it from the middle with the help of fingers.

Now heat ghee in the pan. Do not heat the ghee too much. Now add as much dough as you can and fry on medium flame.

Now add all the fried Balushahi, and take it out after some time and garnish with pistachios and saffron.
