Ingredients For Beeter luchi or Beetroot Poori Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Peel the Beetroot and cut into small pieces.Boil the pieces.Now grind the pieces and make a smooth paste.
  • 2. Now take 1 cup all purpose flour and 1cup whol wheat flour in a mixing bowl.Add salt, dry roasted spices powder( cumin ,coriander,fennel seeds, carom seeds),and Ghee in the flour and mix well.Now add Beetroot paste and mix well.Now add water in portion and knead dough.
  • 3. Kneed little stiff and tight dough for poori.Now cover the dough and keep aside for 20 minutes to rest.
  • 4. After 20 minutes the dough is ready.Now grease your hand with some ghee.Lubricate the the dough again until smooth.devide the dough and roll it into long long shape.Pinch small balls from the dough.Now make round flatten dough ball.Meanwhile heat vegetable oil to deep fry the pooris
  • 5. When the oil get hot rightly,then start making pooris
  • 6. Take one dough ball and roll it out into round and thin pooris.Now slide the rolled pooris in the oil and press it gently with the ladle to puff it up.Then flip the side and continue frying for 10-15 seconds.Similarly fry rest of the pooris.
  • 7. Now serve with potato curry or chana daal
