B careful while adding the cornflour slurry into the sugar syrup , if u don't want pista flavour u can add orange colour or a bit of orange juice to make the sweet dish a bit tangy

Ingredients For Bombay Halwa Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a kadai dry roast the oats so that the raw taste goes away . Then keep it aside to cool.
  • 2. Then in another kadai add water& sugar bring it to a boil.
  • 3. Then when it becomes semi thick add 1/2 lime juice an keep stirring
  • 4. Then in another bowl add cornflour & water and mix well so that no lumps are found.
  • 5. Then add the cornflour slurry in the sugar syrup an keep stirring till it leaves its sides.
  • 6. Then add pista essence, chopped almonds, cashew nuts, & oats an mix well.
  • 7. Then pour it in a bowl & let it set for 2to3 hours . Then cut into pieces an serve.
