Ingredients For Buckwheat flour pakore Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Preparation --Boil potatoes
  • 2. Peel and mash them well.
  • 3. Add the buckwheat flour and mix in the mashed potatoes.
  • 4. Roast peanuts in a small pan till crisp and browned.
  • 5. Remove and keep aside.
  • 6. In the same pan, roast the pomegranate seeds on a low flame for a minute.
  • 7. Then powder the roasted peanuts, pomegranate seeds and
  • 8. Making Pakora Batter.....Add this mixture to the potatoes and mix well.
  • 9. Add cumin powder and rock salt.
  • 10. Add little water in intervals and keep on mixing till you get a very very thick batter.
  • 11. It should be thicker than idli batter. Its almost the consistency of a thick potato puree.then mix well..
  • 12. Frying Kuttu Ke Pakore...Heat oil for deep frying in a kadai or pan.
  • 13. Shape small balls from your hands or with a help of a 1 tablespoon, drop the batter in hot oil.
  • 14. Fry till the pakoras are golden and crisp.
  • 15. Drain the kuttu pakoras on paper napkins to remove excess oil.
  • 16. Serve kuttu pakoras hot with tomato sauce..
