Butter Naan Recipe

Naan may have derived from bread baked on hot pebbles in ancient Persia. The form naan has a widespread distribution, having been borrowed in a range of languages spoken in Central Asia and the Indian subcontinent, where it usually refers to a kind of flatbread (tandyr nan).

Ingredients For Butter Naan Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Place flour in a bowl and add a generous pinch of Salt to it
  • 2. Then a little Baking powder
  • 3. One generous pinch Sugar.
  • 4. Drizzle a little bit of oil.
  • 5. Add milk little by little and knead it into a soft dough.
  • 6. Apply some oil on the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • 7. Now take small portions of the dough and make round balls
  • 8. And once again give it a rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • 9. Now take a portion and roll it gently.
  • 10. Apply some melted butter on top and dust some refined flour.
  • 11. pick up one layer and stick it to another and so on
  • 12. Now roll it like a turban tuck the end of the dough below the dough.
  • 13. Gently press it and roll it. Spread little butter only on the top
  • 14. Add some chopped coriander leaves and press gently.
  • 15. Now lift it and apply some water on the other side and place it on a hot steel pan.
  • 16. Now turn the tava and cook the other side till golden brown.
  • 17. Apply some butter on top and serve hot.
