Ingredients For Carrot halwa recipe

Methods
  • 1. Grate carrot finely
  • 2. In a kadai, heat 2 tsp ghee, add raisins and cashew and roast till golden ,remove and keep it aside
  • 3. In same ghee, add carrot and saute in slow flame till raw smell leaves and carrot turns pale
  • 4. Add milk and boil till carrot absorbs entire milk and turns dry
  • 5. Now add condensed milk and again boil till thick
  • 6. Add sugar, now the mixture will turn semi solid once sugar melts
  • 7. Keep boiling with frequent stirring ,till the halwa turns thick , in between keep on adding ghee at regular intervals
  • 8. When halwa turns thick and smooth mass ,add roasted nuts , cardamon powder and remove from flame.
  • 9. You can add pumpkin seeds too
