Colocasia leaf gojju tasty,tangy,spicy and flavoured with garlic.Kesuvina ele is kannada name. Colocasia contains good amount of antioxidants. Varieties of dishes like pathrode ,sambar, chutney, dosa, cutlet are prepared in different regions of India using it leaves. Today I am sharing south kenara special household recipe,yummy colocasia leaves gojju. Colocasia leaves are powerful enough to digest hair consumed unknowingly. It keeps the bdoy heat balanced during monsoon or cold season.
Some of the Colocasia varieties are irritant to tongue. To avoid this need to be cooked well with tamarind and jaggery.
