Today I am sharing south kenara special household recipe,yummy colocasia leaves gojju. Colocasia leaves are powerful enough to digest hair consumed unknowingly. It keeps the bdoy heat balanced during monsoon or cold season.

Recipe Notes

Some of the Colocasia varieties are irritant to tongue. To avoid this need to be cooked well with tamarind and jaggery.

Ingredients For Colocasia Gojju Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Clean & washed colocasia leaves, tamarind, salt, bird eye chili and 1 cup water and cook them.
  • 2. Leaves colour changes when it is ready. Let it cool.
  • 3. Take a mixer jar add the cooled leaves and coconut
  • 4. Grind into fine paste.
  • 5. Prepare seasoning:- heat the kadai add coconut oil, crushed garlic, mustard, jeera seeds, byadigi chili, curry leaves and asafoetida.
  • 6. Add grinded mixture to the seasoning
  • 7. Add turmeric powder and jaggery to it and boil it nicely.
