Ingredients For Desi Ghee Gulab Jamun Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take a bowl add in the khoya and mash it well. There should be no clumps.
  • 2. Then add in the grated paneer, all purpose flour, sooji, baking powder, and mix them well making sure there are no lumps.
  • 3. Now pour in the milk and form a dough. If needed add extra milk so that it combines into a dough. Keep the dough aside for around half an hour.
  • 4. Make small balls and deep fry them until golden brown.
  • 5. For the syrup: Take a heavy bottom pan pour in the sugar and water and let it dissolve. It should reach a one string consistency.
  • 6. Add in the rose water and give a good stir.
  • 7. Finally drop in the fired jamun balls in the prepared syrup and put it over the flame for a minute or so, or until it becomes soft.
  • 8. Your gulab jamun is ready to serve.
