Ingredients For Eggless Parsi Mawa Cake Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Add saffron strands in milk and keep aside. Sieve together maida, baking powder, baking soda and cardamom powder. Mix and keep aside.
  • 2. In a mixing bowl, take butter and sugar. Beat well. Add curd and beat again. Add mawa (crumbled or grated) and again beat well.
  • 3. Add half of the milk. Mix and add half of the flour mixture. Fold in the mixture. Add rest of the milk. Mix and add rest of the flour mixture. Again fold in the mixture to get thick batter. Do not over mix.
  • 4. Transfer the mixture in a greased pan. Level with spatula and top with slivered almonds and pistachios. Bake in an preheated oven for 25 to 30 min at 180 degrees centigrade. Time and temperature may vary depending upon the oven you are using.Remove from oven, cool and slice. Enjoy.
