Ingredients For Fruit Tree with Upma and Oats

Methods
  • 1. Dividing plate into 3 parts : Making fruit Salad 2) Upma 3) Oats.
  • 2. Fruit Salad : peel Banana and Oranges and arrange them in tree shape.
  • 3. Slice muskmelon and Mango and give them desired shape.
  • 4. Making Upma :-
  • 5. Dry roast 1 cup add sooji rawa in a pan on low flame till it changes its color to golden brown. This may take some 8-10 minutes.
  • 6. Meanwhile chop onion, french beans, Capsicum, Carrot, Coriander finely.
  • 7. In a pan add 1 tablespoon of ghee and when ghee is hot add musturd seed wait till they crackle and add few curry leaves.
  • 8. Add few moong dal as well. To this tadka add all the finely chopped vegetable and saute.
  • 9. Add salt and very little turmeric powder. Don't cook vegetables but once they are soft add dry roast sooji.
  • 10. Mix all properly and add 2 cups of water with continuous stirring. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
  • 11. Making Oats :
  • 12. To the boiling milk add 2 tablespoon Oats and stir it for sometime. Once you can see oats are cooked and milk is thick. Switch off the flame.
  • 13. You can add honey or sugar as per your choice. Here I added Walnut kernels for garnishing and nutrition.
