Ingredients For Gulab Jamun Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a deep pan, add sugar and water. cook it on medium flame till half-string consistency. sugar syrup should be sticky. Turn off the flame. Add cardamom powder and rose water. Add 4-5 drops of lemon juice to avoid crystallization.
  • 2. In a big plate take mawa mash it well, add paneer, rava, baking soda and Maida mix and mash properly. Do not knead it. Make sure dough should be smooth.
  • 3. Divide dough in equal parts, make small crack free balls. If you feel, dough is dry add little milk. If dough is over moist then add some maida.
  • 4. Heat ghee on medium flame. Place 4-5 gulab jamun balls in ghee. Fry the balls golden brown for 12-15 minutes.Put the hot gulab jamuns into the warm sugar syrup.Gently Stri them.
  • 5. Let it rest for 30-40 minutes. Serve hot.
