Kaju ke kamal ke Phool or Kaju Kamal also known as Lotus Kaju is a Indian sweet made using Kaju or Cashew Nuts and Powdered Sugar and are flavoured with Cardamom Powder. These are popular sweets are offered during special occasions and festivals.

Ingredients For Kaju ke Kamal ke Phool (Lotus Flower) Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take cashew nuts in mixer grinder jar and grind intermittently to make fine powder.
  • 2. Remove cashew nut powder in a big plate. Add powdered sugar and cardamom powder. Mix well.
  • 3. Gradually add milk to make dough. Divide dough in two parts, one 3/4 and other 1/4 part. Add food orange colour to the 1/4 part of the prepared dough and mix well.
  • 4. Now take bigger dough part and make tbsp sized balls from it. Similarly make tsp sized balls from orange colour dough.
  • 5. Take one tbsp sized ball, flatten with hand and keep orange colour ball in it. Seal from all sides and make smooth ball and keep aside. Similarly make all the balls and keep in refrigerator for 15 to 20 mins to set.
  • 6. Remove from refrigerator and gently make 6 cuts on it. Do not cut deeply. Keep it intact from bottom. Gently open the petals and keep in refrigerator again for sometime.
  • 7. Kaju Ke Kamal ke Phool are ready to serve.
