Ingredients For Kalakand Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Grate or mash the paneer well.
  • 2. Take milk in a vessel and add grated paneer to it and mix.
  • 3. Now keep it on low flame and cook it while stirring.
  • 4. Now add milk powder to it and mix well.
  • 5. Now cook on medium heat till it thickens and then add sugar.
  • 6. When the sugar mixes well in the mixture and it starts drying, then add cardamom powder and rose essence to it.
  • 7. Cook on low flame stirring continuously till the mixture dries up.
  • 8. And now turn off the gas and put it in the greased tray.
  • 9. When it cools down a bit, cut it into square shape and garnish it with finely chopped pistachios and saffron.
