Methods
  • 1. Rinse and wash moong dal and rice together and soak for 30 mins in water.
  • 2. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pressure cooker and crackle cumin in it.
  • 3. Saute onion in the same and wait till it gets golden brown.
  • 4. Add Turmeric powder and green chilli in it.
  • 5. Drain the lentils and stir them with water and salt in it.
  • 6. Close the lid tightly and pressure cook on a high flame for 6-7 whistles.
