Methods
  • 1. First of all clean the millet thoroughly. Grind the millet in a mixer. Thoroughly.
  • 2. Wash and soak the rice with water too. 8-10 minutes
  • 3. Now put 2-3 tbsp desi ghee in the cooker and heat it. Now add millet to it and mix well.
  • 4. Now add 5 and 1/2 cups of water and mix it. Now mix it well and if there are little lumps, break them with a spoon.
  • 5. Now keep stirring it till it boils. After boiling, close the cooker. Cook 3-4 whistles on high flame and 5-7 minutes on low flame.
  • 6. Serve hot millet khichdi with desi ghee. ...Jai Mata Di...Meetu Garg...
