Ingredients For Lobia Curry Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Soak lobia/ black-eyed bean in water for an hour.
  • 2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
  • 3. Add cumin seeds and let it splutter on medium flame.
  • 4. Add chopped onions and saute till it turns golden brown.
  • 5. Add chopped tomatoes and saute till tomatoes turn soft.
  • 6. Add lobia, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder. Saute for a minute.
  • 7. Now add water. Pressure cook it for 2-3 whistles and remove it from the flame. Let it cook under steam for 3-5 minutes more.
  • 8. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
