Ingredients For Mango Basbousa Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a bowl drive semolina, sugar, maida and baking powder. Mix well.
  • 2. Add 1/4 cup mango puree, grated coconut, ghee and milk.
  • 3. Mix well until seems light and lump free batter. Transfer this batter to greased tin.
  • 4. Bake at180 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes in pre heated oven. Check with toothpic inserted comes out clean.
  • 5. In a pan heat 1/4 cup mango puree with 1 tbsp sugar and mango juice. When boils switch off the flame.
  • 6. Add this mixture to hot cake all over evenly. Garnish with chopped nuts and chopped mango cubes. Serve immediately.
