  • 1. 1. In a pan or in a pressure cooker, heat 1 tsp ghee on medium heat.
  • 2. 2.Add daliya and roast on medium heat until daliya gets golden red.
  • 3. 3.It takes about 2-4 minutes to roast the daliya.
  • 4. daliya after roasting4. Now add water, mix well and take a boil.
  • 5. 5.After the first boil reduce the heat and cook the cracked wheat until it gets tender.
  • 6. 6.The easiest way is to take a whistle in the pressure cooker.
  • 7. 7. When daliya is cooked it .
  • 8. 8.Add milk in the daliya. Also add almonds and walnuts and mix well.
  • 9. 9.Take a boil and let it cook for 3-4 minutes. Add sugar, mix well and cook for another minute.
  • 10. 10.Turn off the heat. Add ground cardamom.
  • 11. 11.Let the daliya cool down.
  • 12. 12 Meetha daliya (cracked-wheat porridge) is ready to serve.
