Ingredients For Moong ki halwa Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Wash and clean moong dal . Let it soak for 2 hours.
  • 2. Drain water. Grind to a fine paste.
  • 3. In a pan, add sugar, water and saffron and bring it to boil.
  • 4. Boil till sugar dissolves . Switch off the flame.
  • 5. In another pan heat ghee. Add moong dal paste.
  • 6. Stir continuously on low medium flame till dal leaves the sides of the pan.
  • 7. Add sugar syrup to moong dal and stir well.
  • 8. When syrup dries up, add green cardamom powder and chopped dry fruits.
  • 9. When the dal mixture leaves the sides of the pan, switch off the flame.
