This recipe is my own innovation. I made mishti doi with nolen gur and til to celebrate Sankranti. Then I made tart to serve it in a delightful way.

Ingredients For Nolen Gur Mishti Doi Til Tart Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Boil milk in a deep bottom pan and stir continuously till it becomes thick and reduces to half the quantity.
  • 2. Allow the milk to cool slightly. Add date palm jaggery or nolen gur while the milk is still warm.
  • 3. Whisk properly till the jaggery dissolves and add the curd. Ground roasted till seeds and mix it well.
  • 4. Pour the mixture in bowls or earthen pots and keep in a warm place to set for 8 to 10 hours.
  • 5. Now for making bread tart shell preheat the oven at 180°. Take a muffin tray and grease it with little oil.
  • 6. Trim the sides of the bread and press them into the holes of the muffin pan.
  • 7. Bake them for 10 minutes. Take out the tart and fill them with mishti doi. Keep in the fridge to set.
  • 8. Garnish with almonds, melon seeds, sesame seeds and dried rose petals.
