Ingredients For Peshawari Chapli Kabab Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Dry roast cumin, coriander seeds, black pepper with pinch of salt in a pan until fragrant. Transfer spices to a food processor and crushed them lightly to get a coarse powder. Set aside.
  • 2. In large bowl take mince, spice mix, salt and mix well. Marinate for 30 minutes.(Preferably 4-6 hours). Just before frying, add dried anar dana,pinch of carom seeds, chopped tomato, coriander stems-leaves, onion, egg and cormeal. Mix well until mince gets a dough like consistency.
  • 3. Roll out balls of kabab and flatten with hands, clapping with hand give them flattened shape. Shallow fry kabab in oil or ghee (traditionally in tallow) for 2-3 minutes on medium flame until crispy and lighty charred. U can taste it as a starter or with rice pulao.
