Ingredients For Rice Kanji or Pej Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take some cooked rice ( cook the rice with more water than usual to make it fluffy ).
  • 2. Take the rice in a pan, add a little water and mash the rice a bit.
  • 3. Add remaining water and keep the pan on the burner for heating.
  • 4. Add hing, salt, ghee and jeera powder.
  • 5. Stir every couple of minutes.
  • 6. When the mixture thickens to a soup-like consistency turn off heat.
  • 7. Serve this kanji while it's warm.
