Rose Faluda Recipe

Falooda or rabri faluda is a South Asian version of a cold dessert made with noodles. It originated from the Persian dish faloodeh, variants of which are found across West, Central, and South Asia. Traditionally it is made by mixing rose syrup, vermicelli, and sweet basil seeds with milk, often served with ice cream.

Ingredients For Rose Faluda Recipe

Methods
  • 1. At first mix custard powder in chilled milk. And boil rest of 2 cup milk and mix the custard powder mix and sugar in it and boil it for 5 minutes.
  • 2. Now cool this milk.
  • 3. Now boil water and add 1/2 tsp ghee in it add vermicelli and cook it.
  • 4. Now strain vermicelli in strainer and pour cold water on it.
  • 5. Now mix some red color and rose syrup in vermicelli and mix it.
  • 6. Now soak the tukmariya in water for 30 minutes.
  • 7. Now put everything(custard milk, vermicelli and tukmariya) in refrigerator and chill it.
  • 8. Now add 2 tbsp rose syrup in a glass.
  • 9. Now add vermicelli and tukmariya in it.
  • 10. Now add custard milk in it and 1 tbsp malai/ cream.
  • 11. Now put rose icecream on the top.
  • 12. Now serve the super chilled faluda. Garnish with chopped cashew on the top.
