Ingredients For SABUDANA KHEER RECIPE

Methods
  • 1. How to make sabudana kheer▢ Add sabudana to a heavy bottom pot and rinse it very well.
  • 2. ▢ Pour 1 cup water and cook them until transparent stirring often.
  • 3. ▢ You can also soak them for few hours to reduce the cook time.
  • 4. ▢ Check the doneness by biting a few pearls. They should not be hard or chewy.
  • 5. ▢ Pour milk and stir. Cook until they turn soft and light.
  • 6. ▢ Add cardamom powder and sugar.
  • 7. ▢ Stir and cook until the sabudana kheer turns thick to your liking.
  • 8. ▢ If needed add more milk & simmer. It usually thickens upon cooling.
  • 9. ▢ Serve sabudana kheer warm or chilled. Garnish with chopped nuts.
  • 10. ▢ You can also fry the nuts and raisins in ghee and pour it over the kheer.
