Arrowroot powder is used ro give a binding to the wadas.Do not add it while mixing.

Ingredients For Sabudana vada Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Wash and clean the sabudana and soak it overnight with 1 ½ c of water.Morning strain it in a seive
  • 2. Transfer the sabudana in a bowl and add all the ingredients except oil and arrowroot powder
  • 3. Adjust the spices and salt as per your taste
  • 4. Now form into small balls and roll each ball into the arrowroot powder
  • 5. Similarly make all the sabudana wala by dipping them.in arrowroot powder.qe just need to dip them to give them a coating so they don't open while frying
  • 6. Now heat oil on medium flame and fry the sabudana Vada till.they turn golden brown in color
  • 7. Serve them warm along with some chutney and chai
