Methods

How to make Semolina Pitha Recipe

1. First of all, roast the semolina in a pan on low flame.
2. Now add milk and ghee to semolina and cook it in low flame.
3. Then keep stirring it continuously till the mixture gets dry.
4. Now take off the pan and let the mixture cool down a bit.
5. After that take out the mixture in a plate and knead it well with flour.
6. Now add sugar and water in a pan and let it come to a boil and then add cardamom powder,
7. then turn off the gas and keep it covered.
8. After that make small balls from the mixture and make a design with the help of a toothpick.
9. Now take a frying pan, heat the oil and fry the pitha in low medium flame until golden brown.
10. Then put the hot pitha soaked in sugar syrup for 1 hour.
11. Finally after 1 hour serve the delicious semolina pitha in a plate.
