Recipe Notes

Dough should be stiff otherwise shakkarpare will not become crispy. Oil should not be too hot.

Ingredients For Shakkarpare Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Dissolve the sugar in 1/2 cup of water.
  • 2. Take a mixing bowl add maida , Rawa , salt and ghee. Mix it . Rub it with your hands. Mixture should be hold in your hands.
  • 3. Gradually add sugar water. If needed add more water. Make a stiff dough. Cover it with lid . Keep aside.
  • 4. Divide the dough into 2-3 equal parts. Take one portion , make round shaped thick roti .
  • 5. Cut pieces from it of your desired shapes. Do the same process for remaining dough.
  • 6. On medium hot oil deep fry all the shakkarpare. Remove it in a plate.
  • 7. Let it completely cool. Store in a air tight container.
