Ingredients For Shengoli Laddu Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a big mixing bowl take Chana dal flour ( besan), salt.
  • 2. Now add milk little by little and knead a soft dough and rest it for 15 minutes.
  • 3. Now take small portion of dough and roll it by using hands to form like rod shape. Now cut it into small small pieces.
  • 4. In a kadai heat Ghee. Now fry this till it becomes golden brown.
  • 5. Now your Shengoli is ready. Allow it to cool.
  • 6. Now by using mixi jar or griender make powder of shengoli.
  • 7. Now by adding 2 tbsp ghee, roast this powder for 3-4 minutes on low flame.
  • 8. Now prepare sugar syrup. In a big utensil take sugar and water.
  • 9. Boil it on high flame till sugar gets dissolve completely. Now cook on low flame for 5-6 minutes.
  • 10. Prepare one string consistency sugar syrup.
  • 11. Now pour roasted shengoli powder into sugar syrup mix it well .
  • 12. Now cover it and rest it for around 1-2 hours.
  • 13. After an hour check it whether we can bind laddus
  • 14. If we can bind it easily bind laddus else mix that again and rest for another 1 hour.
  • 15. Now with help of hand, mash that mixture and make it lump free. Now prepare laddus of required shape.
  • 16. Tips - Don't apply too much force while binding laddus because it will become hard.
  • 17. Tasty Shengoli Laddus are ready to serve.
