Sago khichadi is easy to make, the main part is getting the tapioca soaked correctly, so that the pearls remain separate and don't turn the khichdi mushy.

Ingredients For Tapioca or Sago Pearls Khichadi

Methods
  • 1. Take a wok heat oil in it. Add cumin seeds, curry leaves and green chillies. Saute it for few seconds.
  • 2. Add boiled potatoes in it. Mix it well. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Add salt, black pepper powder and cumin powder. Mix it well.
  • 3. Now add soaked tapioca and peanuts. Mix it well. Cover it with lid. Cook for 3-4 minutes on low medium flame.
  • 4. Turnoff the flame. Add coriander leaves and lemon juice. Sago khichadi is ready.
