Recipe Notes

In place of rose petals,you can use 2 tsp gulkand also.If you don't like to have small pieces of dry fruit while drinking,pass the thandai through strainer before serving.

Ingredients For Thandai Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Soak almonds for 4-5hrs. Or put almonds in boiling water for two three minutes to soften.
  • 2. Now peel them and keep aside. Also soak khas khas, cardamom seeds and saunf for some time.
  • 3. In a grinder,grind saunf, khaskhas ,cardamom, sugar to a paste using the water in which these were soaked.
  • 4. In a mixer,combine all ingredients and give two three nice churns. Transfer in glasses, garnish with saffron strands, chopped pistachios, some rose petals and enjoy chilled.
