Ingredients For Vegan Malabar Spinach Parcels Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Firstly, peel and mash sweet potato in a bowl.
  • 2. Add cashew powder, salt, cumin powder, red chilli powder,  green chilies and mix well.
  • 3. Grease your hands well and take small portions from the mixture and place  in the malabar spinach leaves.  Fold the leaves into halves. Likewise,  repeat for the entire mixture. 
  • 4. Now, make a batter by mixing gram flour,  salt,  turmeric and nigella seeds with water. Make a lump free smooth batter. 
  • 5. Heat up oil for frying.  Dip the parcels in the gram flour batter and shallow fry in low to medium flame till they are golden brown. 
  • 6. Hot and tempting  sweet potato malabar spinach parcels are ready to serve.
