Methods
  • 1. In a heavy bottom wok, roast the flour on low flame for 15 minutes.
  • 2. Meanwhile mix sugar in water and bring to a boil. Make sure sugar dissolves completely in water.
  • 3. Add ghee in the flour. Mix well . Cook till flour looks brown in colour.
  • 4. Adjust the flame on medium to high. Add sugar syrup. Stir quickly to avoid any lump formation.
  • 5. Stir continuously till halwa starts to thicken and leave the sides of the wok.
  • 6. Turn off the flame. Transfer the halwa in a serving bowl.
  • 7. Serve hot.
