Ingredients For Aalu Poha Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Wash the poha with water 2-3 times and keep it in a sieve.
  • 2. Peel the potatoes and onions and cut them into small pieces.
  • 3. Put oil in a pan and heat it. Add peanuts to it. Fry on low flame. Take it out in a plate and keep it aside.
  • 4. Now put mustard seeds in the same pan first. When mustard seeds crackle, add cumin seeds, green chillies, curry leaves and onions.
  • 5. When the onion becomes light brown then add potatoes to it. Mix well and cover and cook it on low flame till the potatoes are cooked.
  • 6. Now add salt, turmeric, chilli and sugar to it. Then mix the soaked poha in it and stir it well.
  • 7. Squeeze lemon juice. Mix fried peanuts. Serve garnished with chopped onions and green coriander.
