Recipe Notes

Always choose mangoes that are sweet and low in fibre. Do not add mango cubes on hot milk mixture.

Ingredients

Ingredients For AAM -DUDH -PULI ( stuffed mango rice dumplings)

Methods
  • 1. Boil water in a bowl.
  • 2. Make a soft dough ( just like chapatis) by adding sufficient water and salt.
  • 3. Cover it up with a moist cloth and keep it for 20 minutes.
  • 4. Heat a pan and add mango pulp, cottage cheese and half a tin of condensed milk and cook on a medium flame.
  • 5. Stir it well till it leaves the sides of the pan. Switch off the gas. Let it cool down completely.
  • 6. Now take a small dough and roll it out like poori. Pour a spoonful of mango mixture and fold the sides and seal it's edges with little water.
  • 7. Likewise prepare the rest of the pulis.
  • 8. Boil milk in a heavy bottomed pan.When it started to thicken ,add rest of the condensed milk.
  • 9. Cook for 2 minutes. Switch off the flame.
  • 10. After 5 minutes ,add mango pulis and saffron milk.
  • 11. Let it cool. Serve chilled by garnishing with mango cubes.
