Ingredients For Baked Bhappa Doi Recipe

Methods
  • 1. For hung curd tie about 3 cup curd in a muslin cloth and hang it for around 4-5 hours so that all water content is drained out.
  • 2. Remove and collect all the thick curd left in cloth in a mixing bowl.This is your hung curd.
  • 3. Whisk hung curd and Condensed milk till no lumps are left.Now add malai and cardamom seeds and again whisk till smooth and soft.
  • 4. Pour into silicon moulds or ramekins.
  • 5. Keep these silicon moulds in a broad baking mould or baking glass bowl.Fill the glass bowl with water such that the water reaches half of the height of silicon moulds.
  • 6. Cover the bowl with aluminium foil. Prick some holes here and there in it so that the steam can escape.
  • 7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree for 30 to 35 minutes or till tooth pick comes out clean.
  • 8. Remove from the baking bowl and let them cool.
  • 9. Now keep in fridge for at least 2 hrs for setting.Demould and relish this sweet delicacy.
