Ingredients For Besan Sev Recipe

Methods
  • 1. For making the sev we need Chakoli maker ( mould) with large hole disc. Grease the disc and mould from inside. Keep aside.
  • 2. Take a mixing bowl add besan and all the spices. Mix it well. Make a hold between flour and pour hot oil. Mix it with spoon.
  • 3. After few minutes when oil becomes little cool, mix the flour with your hands.
  • 4. Add little water and make a soft smooth dough.
  • 5. Cover it with cloth. Keep it aside to rest. After 20 minutes again knead the dough.
  • 6. Make logs from the dough. Place it in mould
  • 7. Cover it with lid.
  • 8. Heat oil in a wok. Press the sev maker directly above the hot oil . Move your hands in circular motion.
  • 9. On medium heat fry the sev from both the sides till it becomes golden and crispy.
  • 10. Remove it in a kitchen napkin.
  • 11. Let it cool then store in airtight container.
