Ingredients For Caramel Cupcake Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Pre-heat the oven at 160 degree Celsius for 10 minutes.
  • 2. Beat egg and sugar using hand mixer in a bowl till light and fluffy.
  • 3. Add curd, vanilla essence and oil then beat again to mix all ingredients.
  • 4. Sift all dry ingredients and add it to the egg mixture. Fold it lightly.
  • 5. Grease muffin moulds and pour the batter in moulds till they are three fourth filled.
  • 6. Bake for 20 minutes at 160 degree Celsius in the preheated oven.
  • 7. Meanwhile take a saucepan add sugar and few drops of water on a medium flame. Cook till it gets liquid and golden in colour. The caramel sauce is ready.
  • 8. Take muffins from the oven and let it cool on the cooling rack. Now dip the top of the muffin in the hot caramel sauce.
  • 9. Serve warm at your tea party.

I tried this recipe, and the cupcakes were quite spongy. Moreover, topping it with caramel just augmented the flavour.
