Ingredients For Dates Baklava

Methods
  • 1. Grind pistachios and almonds. Mix it with dates and form the filling.
  • 2. Thaw the puff sheets. Cut it into 12 strips of length 4 inches and width 1inch.
  • 3. Brush butter over the sheets and sprinkle the filling mixture from edge to edge evenly.
  • 4. Then roll it carefully and after every roll brush it with butter. Roll the 12 sheets properly.
  • 5. Grease the baking tray and place the baklava rolls over it.
  • 6. Bake the baklavas at 170°C for 40 to 45 minutes until they are light golden brown in colour.
  • 7. Boil sugar with water to make sugar syrup. Add honey and few drops of rose essence.
  • 8. Pour the hot syrup evenly over all the  baklava pieces.  Sprinkle chopped pistachios over them. Garnish with dates. Enjoy!
