1.
Firstly, wash the dal properly and soak in water for 15 minutes.

Now marinate the boiled eggs with salt and turmeric and fry them till golden brown.

Now add required amount of mustard oil and temper with red chili, bay leaf. Add the chopped onions and fry till translucent. Next add the ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell is gone. After that, add the chopped tomatoes, all the dry spices, salt and cook till oil separates from the masala

Add the chopped potatoes, washed dal and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water, boiled and fried eggs and cover the lid. Keep the flame at the lowest and cook for 15 minutes. In this time, dal will be cooked and potatoes will soften. Add water to adjust consistency.
5.
Lastly finish off by adding garam masala powder. Serve hot with roti/ paratha
