Ingredients For Goond ke Ladoo Recipe

Methods
  • 1. First heat the pure ghee in a pan.Once the ghee is hot fry the goond in 2 to 3 batches.Do not fry all togther.Fry them till they nicely puff up and turn golden brown
  • 2. Set aside to cool
  • 3. In the same ghee fry the Almonds and cashews.Do not burn them.Remove and set aside
  • 4. Fry the raisins and set aside
  • 5. Now in the same ghee add 2 tbsp more pure ghee and fry the Whole-wheat flour.Fry on slow flame and fry till it turns golden brown in color and nice aroma appears
  • 6. Mean while grind the goond and the nuts.Do not grind the raisins
  • 7. Now in the flour add the grinded powders of Goond and nuts
  • 8. Add the raisins and the cardamom pwdr
  • 9. Now finally add the sugar and mix everything together
  • 10. Let it cool a bit.Not completely cool.
  • 11. When you touch the flour it shuld still be warm.Then take small portions and form ladoos using your palms
  • 12. Garnish each ladoo with slivered nuts
  • 13. Store in a dry airtight container.Stays well for weeks
