This is close to my heart because it was a special dish my mother use to prepare and every guest who ever visited my home they use to ask for this special recipie.Its made of green masala.Super spicy also.

Recipe Notes

Make sure the masala you roast and saute it nicely so that it should not have raw taste .Oil is very important so use oil nicely to saute masala well .Green chilli use how much spicy you want to eat.

Methods
  • 1. Fist step after cleaning mutton nicely always slow cook in pan never cook in pressure cooker add salt,turmeric and 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and chopped tomatoes mix nicely and coat the mutton and keep on medium flame to get the mutton cook never use water or anything the mutton itself leave water.
  • 2. When mutton becomes dry and there's no water left, it means mutton has cooked fully ,next step take a pan heat oil use 5 tbsp oil for 1/2 kg mutton then add jeera and let it splutter next add ginger garlic paste ,sliced onion and saute till onion becomes soft.
  • 3. Next grind green masala made of coconut ,green chilli and coriander ,green chilli and coriander leaves make smooth paste.
  • 4. Then add this green paste and add turmeric ,chopped tomato saute it nicely till the raw smell of coconut goes off and it becomes light brown in colour green chilli adjust as per how spicy you want.
  • 5. Next add the cooked mutton to it and add 1 cup of water and cover the lid and keep for 10 to 20 minutes so that the whole masala gets mixed well with the mutton garnish with hara dhania while serving. The delicious hari mirch mutton is ready to eat serve with chapati or jowar roti goes well.
  • 6. This masala is not only for making nonveg you can use same masala for any vegetarian dish also,and if you don't want dry mutton you can add water and make gravy also .It goes best with biryani rice.
