Grilled Basa with Burnt Onion Broth Recipe

Fish is high protein products. So we hVd yo take them in our daily diet. Basa has 22.5 grams of high-quality in protein. Onions has also 1.1 gm protein. So here i try a new twist recipe with basa . Its healthy and easy to make . The onion broth is light and perfect with grilled basa.

Ingredients For Grilled Basa with Burnt Onion Broth Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Fisrt marinate the fish with lemon juice, salt , black pepper, ginger garlic paste .and chili flakes. Rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • 2. Now in a pan, add 2 tbsp oil , and 2 tbsp butter . Add 1/2 cup chopped onion. Now roasting it for 2 minutes. Now add little salt , green cardamom, black cardamom powder, and ginger garlic paste.
  • 3. Cook for another 2 minutes more when the onion get totally burnt and caramelized turned of the gas . Now cool it down . Then make a fine paste of it .
  • 4. Now take a grilled pan . take 2 tbsp butter in it . Add the marinate fish in it . Grilled for both side for 5 minutes. Take the fish out. Now in this pan add the onions paste . Now add lemon zest in it . slow cook it for 2 minutes. Onion Broth is ready.
  • 5. Now add little salt in it . Put the fish in it . slow cook for 2 minutes. Turn of the gas . Your grilled Basa with burnt onion broth is ready to serve.
