B careful while applying gulkand since it might make ur sheet a bit watery , after making the shape u can refridgerator it an then deep fry it

Ingredients For Gulkand Rolls Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a bowl add maida, salt , and make a dough an wrap up with muslin cloth for about half an hour.
  • 2. Then in a kadai , add chopped almonds, cashew nuts, pistachios an roast them for sometime..
  • 3. Then let it be cool , then add the seedless dates an roast it for sometime, then when cool grind it into dry paste
  • 4. Then in a bowl add the dates paste, add the roasted almonds, cashewnuts, pistachios and mix well
  • 5. Then make big pieces an keep aside . Then take a piece of maida dough, roll it like roti shape.
  • 6. Cut it's sides , then divide the portion into half an keep aside .
  • 7. Then take one half side spread gulkand over it then place the dates roll , & roll it in a cylindrical shape an keep aside.
  • 8. Seal it with maida and water mixed paste an keep aside & deep fry it , continue like this by making rolls
  • 9. Then deep fry it an garnish with grated cheese
  • 10. If u want u can keep in oven for the cheese to melt
  • 11. And serve it
