Methods
  • 1. Take curd, maida, and cornflour in a bowl.
  • 2. Add baking powder and mix well.
  • 3. Make a smooth and lump-free batter using a wired whisker.
  • 4. Add orange food colour and keep aside this batter for 20 minutes.
  • 5. Make sugar syrup from sugar and water.
  • 6. Add saffron threads, cardamom powder, and rose essence in sugar syrup.
  • 7. Heat ghee in a pan, fill the batter in a bottle and make a small hole in the lid.
  • 8. Make a round pattern from batter in hot oil and fry till crisp.
  • 9. Soak fried jalebi in warm sugar syrup for 2-3 minutes and then remove.
  • 10. Serve hot and crisp jalebi, and garnish with pistachios.
