Methods
  • 1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, fry the cumin first, then add asafotedia.
  • 2. Add the chopped mango, dal, water and salt.
  • 3. Cover the cooker, allow it to cook till you hear 4 whistles and the lentils are soft.
  • 4. Garnish with chopped coriander. Serve with jeera rice.
