Ingredients For Dal Makhani Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Boil urad dal and rajma with turmeric powder in a cooker.
  • 2. Pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistles on a medium heat flame.
  • 3. Heat ghee/butter in a pan. Add chopped onions & fry until onions turn brown in color.
  • 4. Add ginger garlic paste and green chillies. Cook for sometime.
  • 5. Add tomato puree, garam masala, red chilli powder, boiled rajma and urad dal with water in cooker.
  • 6. Add 1/2 cup of milk and cook for sometime.
  • 7. Add butter and let it melt. Mash dal and rajma a little.
  • 8. Add cream and cook for sometime.
  • 9. Garnish with sliced ginger and coriander leaves. You can even garnish with butter or cream. Once done, serve hot.
